Reta Steel Trophy

A field of 36 men and women competed Sunday for the Reta Steel Trophy which is a mixed Canadian foursomes stableford event played each year.  Despite a delay caused by frost, the event was most successful and greatly enjoyed by all.

Vandalism

You might have observed that the clubhouse has been vandalised recently.  The first signs appeared on Sunday morning with graffiti painted on two of the outside walls.  The vandals returned the next night and tossed most of the outdoor furniture over the balcony and daubed some of the door handles with human excreta.  The tables [...]

Kitchen Upgrade Windfall

A $10,000 grant from the Waikanae Community Board has ‘kick started’ our fund-raising drive to upgrade our very sub-standard kitchen facilities.  The Board believes the Club cannot defer this work any longer.
